[Info needed] 2 Bugs - Ice Field Not showing and a Cover with summons issue

1 Ice Field is cast doing its thing but no graphic

2 If my summons gets between me and target it causes 0 Damage - - DO NOT try and tell me this is designed any archer worth his salt and has GM in Ranged can shot over / around his pet or summons or party member to hit a target especially if target stays in range LOS and in front of him. If this is intended it needs to be addressed and fixed. Definitely a bug, or bad programming.

Imagine you're in a PVP scenario and you can't see your opponents ice field and you run into it and the effect still persists for almost a minute even after you leave it and then they root you in place unable to move with an ice arrow because it drops your movement speed below 100% and they run around you using you as a practice dummy. It's all sorts of broken. This game was not ready for release and it will probably be at least 2 more releases before we see a fix for this or at a minimum a combat balance pass for non mages.

 

I cannot repro this. I also see other players using this spell. Is this 100% of the time? Is it only on certain terrain? If you have repro steps, please include it with the bug report template information please. A lot of information was blank on your report
I even adjusted my video settings in game and I cannot get this to happen. @Weins201

I'm not sure if you are saying this is happening to you as well, but details always would help us. It can only help push us towards a resolution. Remember, this is the bug forums I am all about the who what when where and whys. Thank you and I'm sorry for the problems you may be having.

 

@Lexie It is not 100%, it happens just sometimes. I don't think it's related to terrain, in the same ground sometimes you see the ice field, sometimes not. As Titania said it's pretty annoying in PVP.

 

Yeah I have had my ice field disappear regularly while hunting the reaper.

Archery , bah I don't know il can look but it is not skill releated it is LOS releated when somthign get in between

 

Ice Field was cast right where the reaper was standing, the reaper has the field effect, there is the timer under my bar, BUT no ice field on the ground.

If I did not look up and see that it was actually there I would have tried to recast, expensive / slow cast spell.

Still says info needed and I have give more and here is more - I cast Ice Field and it is not visible - I was getting ready to recast then saw the effect under my target then looked under my bar and see it was up? Visibility of this spell needs to be fixed.
