[Info Needed] 4 Crashes in 90 mins

    I crashed 4 times in 90mins of gameplay, after not crashing more than once every 50-60+hrs of gameplay in r36. No specific steps to reproduce

    i5 2500k @ 4.6ghz
    8gb ram
    Samsung SSD 850pro
    Asus GTX 970
    Windows 10

    Edit2: 5 times, two times at the exact same place; right beside the water where the bottom right of the red rectangle around my house in my signature.

    Edit3: 6 times, 3rd time in the exact place (right beside the water; the bottom right of the red rectangle around my house in my signature.)

    Edit4: 7 times, just now leaving the oracle in Ardoris.

    I am currently Having same Issue, have crashed 2 times in owl's head (back to back crashes) Have never had game crash on me before.

    Edit: Make that 3 times in a row, unable to get started without crash. as above no way to reproduce as game is just crashing. I am on Steam btw

    This has been happening to me all morning.. I've not even been able to really play that much. I've never ever had issues with crashing.. But R37 seems constant :(

    @Serafina, This does not appear to be a location issue, I have crashed multiple times since I logged in around 11am. I have crashed in Owls head while running road to town square ( then 2 more times when relogging). Crashed in the town of Bladwyke when I opened the Guild Vendor, Crashed leaving my home in spite, and at this moment when attempting to log in get the "/loc" for you I crash before I am ever able to move. Currently in the town of Bladwyke next to "Havoc vendor".

    Edit: I am currently on the Steam client, as the SOTA updater does not appear to be updating on my computer.

    yea I've crashed in this location 3x now BUT I'm always in this location lol
    Area: Soltown (Novia_R1_City_Soltown) Loc: (-72.5, 27.1, -16.7)

    And I have now crashed about 12x in 2hrs of gameplay involving moving. (I tend to play slow standing around a lot)

    I almost never crashed before, I always wondered what the players concerned about crashing too much were talking about.....(I assumed their pcs were older, etc)

    Hi,

    today I crashed 3 times in 2 different locations of Brittany Fields. The client simply hung up without response.

    1. Title: Client Crash
    2. Reproduction Rate: 100%
    3. Blocker? Yes
    4. Details: Have had numerous crashes in various scenes, but never on the overland map. Can now not login using the "resume" option without an instant crash. I'm in Etceter and for obvious reasons can not use /loc or /loctrack. Have tried changing video settings to "fastest" but to no avail. Screenshot for location below. Have sometimes crashed on the splash screen.
    5. Steps to Reproduce: Login
    User Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 14393)
    DirectX Version: DirectX 12
    Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
    SotA Build :521 , Steam client login

    Edit : Also crashes with SotA client login

    Edit 2 : I logged in to Overland map, and returned to the 15m away from last crash position. This time I had /loctrack turned on. Sure enough, I crashed :(

    Killed myself and returned to the area (/locktrack on) as a ghost to see if there was any difference, but crashed again.

    I am also getting lots of crashing happens all over some times in town some times when I am out fighting. updated my video drivers still happening. at first release 37 worked great than with build 520 I started getting lock ups still playable but annoying, but with build 521 it happening so much the game is unplayable.

    I can't even play the game, every time I log in I crash. Sometimes I don't even load in all the way, my character that is. Other times I can maybe play 2 minutes then crash. Started after I patched to 520. Hoping patch 521 would fix this, and I'm still crashing.
    Location I'm currently at is Serpent's Watch.

    Was able to get a Loc (-222.9, 26.0, 269.2)

    Having the same issue, not finding much, only thing in out_put log is:
    BoxColliders does not support negative scale or size.
    The effective box size has been forced positive and is likely to give unexpected collision geometry.
    If you absolutely need to use negative scaling you can use the convex MeshCollider. Scene hierarchy path "PlayerTownPlot/DynamicPlotCityDecoItem(Clone)/PlotDynamicCity/DynamicPlotParentObject/port_paverSet_blackMarble_8m(Clone)/port_tavern_counter(Clone)"

    Can send along a dxdiag if it helps. @Serafina

    @Serafina dropped form Auto to fastest for graphics and no crash so far.

    We have a proposed fix for this specific issue in release 522. If possible, please wait for further reports and report back if crashing continues, increases, or goes away after the 522 patch.
