[Info Needed] Can't rename vendor

Details:Sometimes I can rename my vendor, sometimes I can't. In previous releases, friends with permissions on the vendor could rename when I couldn't.

Today it didn't show an error, just didn't change the vendor names. In previous releases this happened, or sometimes an error saying "Perhaps its in use by another player" is sometimes thrown.
Steps to Reproduce:Try to rename vendor.

Is this a Commission Free Vendor? or Player Vendor? (Not sure it matters, but just in case it helps track it down).

 

CF. I have three I can rename, I just tested them all.

The one I originally posted this because of, which is often very hit or miss, got successfully renamed today EDIT but only after leaving and coming back in scene. It's in front of my shop in BA.

The basement vendor in the same shop did not successfully rename.

My friend's in PaxLair did.

 

Possibly just a server/client resync issue? Does reloading the scene fix it for each of the "unnamed" merchants?

 

It does sometimes, sometimes not. I've reported this bug previously as well. I had blamed it on internet at the time, but just got dsl and am getting a much better connection. I do live in Costa Rica, but the game seems to sync up pretty well in all other situations.

I believe I disqualified "someone is using it in another instance" last release, by having my friend use it while I successfully renamed.

They were all previously named something other than default, not sure what you mean by "unnamed."

 

Please list the specific NPCs and the names they should be displaying and their location coordinates for further in-depth review. Thank you.

 

I have not gotten this to happen today despite trying several times.

There is no specific name they should have, as I change them basically every time inventory changes or the economy does something. So if I can't rename it, I have Vintage Tangstra or Viola Vidason do it for me.

I'll update with more, but take a look at the map at the top to find their location.

 

I found while trying to rename a vendor today that I initially had no option to do so. I went into permissions and checked I had rights, after I'd done that the rename option was back at the top of the right click menu. Vendor was in Brittany Alleys, so a busy scene likely to cause lag/de-sync.
