We've received a couple reports of this occurring, but we haven't been able to reproduce it yet. Are you able to get it to occur again, and if so, to respawning the pet fix it for a time, or is it consistently not attacking anything for a long period of time? I'm wondering if something's triggering the behavior. It's almost like it's in passive mode when it should be in aggressive, but that shouldn't be happening. : /

 

I suspect it was to do with the particular location and/or the position of the elemental and the attackers, with line of sight a possible factor (I was in the tunnels at the top of the mine). I was attacked, it did nothing; while logging the bug I was attacked again, it did nothing; still logging the bug I got attacked again but this time by an archer so I had to move around but at this point it did start attacking. So the elemental moving was enough to 'reset' the behaviour.

 

The same thing just happened in Greymark Forest, so it's probably safe to rule out line of sight as a cause.

I attacked an Elf Fighter which was in turn chasing a wolf about, then got attacked by said wolf while fighting. Elemental was trailing behind initially (due to leash bug reported elsewhere) but arrived part way through the fight and did nothing. While recording the details an Elven Mage arrived and started attacking me but was then set upon by a Bear, Fire Elemental did not attack at any point. This was all at this location:

Would you be able to try to reproduce this on latest patch 490, this may be a weird edge case of other AI behavior we've observed and attempted to address for patch 490. Thank you.
