[Info needed] Map locks up randomly R54

Title: Map locks up randomly
Reproduction Rate: 90%
Blocker? Only for the map
Details: I can open the map and sometimes drag it around for a bit, but eventually it locks up. It has happened when I scroll with the wheel and when double clicking on the map.
Steps to Reproduce: Open map. Scroll or double click. Happens at least 90%.
