[Info needed] Rend effect causes character to unsheath weapon

    I have observed that whenever an enemy NPC uses rend on me and it is still active, when I sheath my weapon it causes me to unsheathe again while the effect is working.

    Someone correct me if I am wrong, this but isn't it just putting you back in combat mode as a mob is attacking you?
    Let me know if I've misunderstood this.

    Yes the rend effect puts me back in combat mode. It usually happens after I am done fighting.

    This happens with any DoT spell/ability and the MoB dies. You still have the effect on and when it ticks your back in combat mode because the DoT hit you for damage.
