My game was working fine in the middle of last year, but I've not started the program for a very long time. When I started the launcher, it didn't seem to work, so I uninstalled the entire game and reinstalled it again.

Installation ran fine, so I ran the launcher. But the launcher is now unresponsive like before I reinstalled the game. Alt+tabbing to the launcher does not bring it out. Holding on alt+tab, the launcher looks like an empty command prompt window.

My PC is not new but it isn't that old. It was still running SotA last year. Please help. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty experienced. :( Could you provide your full system specs to review this issue further?

I hope the below helps. Also to note, I thought I try maybe let the launcher run, to see whether it's actually doing anything and the whole blank thing is just temporary. At certain points, the launcher icon does "blink" (you know how programs that just booted does). I was hopeful that it means it was running through patches. However, that only happened a couple of times and stopped, and even after leaving it on for a whole night, I still can't see what the launcher is doing even after running it a night.

Would you be able to provide us with your launcher's log for our team to investigate? You can email the file to us at rromero@portalarium.com

The launcher file should be labeled output_log.txt under your game directory's launcher_data folder. Run the launcher to as far as you can (where you stop making progress), close the launcher, and then send us the file that should have been updated.
