Title: When Avatar is dead/ghost - someone's gloves or hands are visible
Reproduction Rate: occurred twice when I died around the same party, but I was only able to test it twice, see below.
Blocker? No.
Details: I was in multiplayer mode, but adventuring solo. I came across a party, and died while fighting alongside them. After I became a ghost, I saw a pair of gloves or hands floating around in the air. I was having connection issues at the time and could not trouble-shoot which player had the visible gloves, but I think it was a caster/mage since I did not see any weapon swooshes around these gloves, and the hands appeared to be open, as if no weapon was in them. So maybe these were cloth gloves?

@Rinaldi These are probably a specific pair of gloves as it doesn't seem to happen with the few that I tested. Could you possibly ask that person which gloves they were wearing?

I am unable to find out that info...the player was not in my group and I did not come across the group after the screen shot. However, the screenshot below may help. Again, in K'rul, I died and while I was wandering around as a ghost, I saw the white crossbow (shown below) on an NPC (after resurrection, I confirmed that these NPC's were Kobald Grenadiers). Seems like it may be a related bug.

@Rinaldi This shouldn't be happening anymore, but if you see it again, can you give me the location coordinates for where you're seeing it?

Cross bow visible when dead:
I checked the latest release (Release 39 QA 466), and the white crossbow of the Kobold grenadier is NO longer visible when the avatar is a ghost, so that issue appears to be fixed.

Gloves Visible When Zoning in:
While alive, the gloves were not visible before the avatar became visible when zoning into caverns of skrekk (as in Wintermute's post) when I had the following types of gloves equipped: capacian epic cloth, cloth, broken leather, copper epic plate gauntlets (these are the only types I could test).

When resurrecting at an ankh, the same glove types were not visible before the avatar became visible.

So, with the gloves described above, I could not reproduce Wintermute's glove issue (so maybe it is something specifically with supple fortified leather gloves shown in his post)?

Gloves visible when dead:
I was not able to test the gloves visible when ghost, as described in my original post. Not sure if this is related to the same issue Wintermute described.

 

The visible gloves on zone in is still apparent in 563, do you need me to post a separate bug report @Serafina ?
