[Info needed] xenos, artifice, notus, elf chancilor failing to process

On the quest notus is failing to proceed threw the mission. to give papers so that I can proceed threw the artifice.

 

@Durriken Could you provide some additional details please. What is the error you are getting exactly? What does the last journal entry say? Did you try all the suggested keyword options that are hidden with the down arrow? What does the NPC say when you get this problem? Thanks and I'm sorry for the trouble.

All I can get a Satyer to say is this:


And I do have the Bonesteel Dagger on me.

 

Have you tried talking to the satyr harbor master? he is the one by the etceter docks that looks like an archer

There are a total of two NPCs you need to talk to in Etceter with the bonesteel dagger item on you. You must take passage to Xenos as one of them will instruct. If you can't find the NPCs, make sure they are not off duty.

I'll try this and update tonight. Even if this resolves the problem, as an RFE Notus' dialogue needs to be adjusted to give a hint about who you need to talk to. Logically, it doesn't make sense that he wouldn't know, and there's no reason I wouldn't ask.

 

This was it. That said, the if you HAVE to go there via the harbor, then the boat needs to not be present on the world map until you do for the first time.
