Item drop that is absolutely needed is broken.

I thank you for addressing the issues in vikland in regard to the crystal drops. Everything is working as intended, well as it used to be anyways except one huge issue. Once you go up the elevator in the mysterious cave and you enter the upper area, the drop rate is 100% broken. The pale one mobs use to drop the crystals which is extremely necessary for anyone who cares to spend anytime up there. Even if you carry extra gems on you, should you log out or portal to unload, whatever, the door will relock and require another red gem. Problem is they don't drop and your stuck to leaving, killing back in normal vikland in order to return to the full upper area not to mention the chests up there after reset require another random gem. None of the gem's drop of any color. One day when you have nothing to do is fine

 

You can stockpile the crystals or take friends with you that carry additional crystals.

 

you can also open the portal to the obsidian docks and go back and forth as you please in one session.

 

By stockpiling you mean placing in bank then hunt more and repeat? I've heard that's a thing but wasn't sure that was allowed... is it? To your point Alley Oop, I have found after the latest fix, if you leave the upper area via teleport and you use a return to previous location or you log off while still up there and log back in, the center door re-locks. If I care to spend a week up there, I use to be able to do this, now I cannot because the gems don't drop up there. I understand I can farm/bank/farm/bank to stock up and I can live with it, it just didn't use to be that way, I use to keep my character up there for weeks to mine and other things. No biggie just thought I reply as you took the time to

 

You can carry 3 of each. Which is more then what is needed to enter. Also they drop even more often once your in the center.

 

Not anymore Syee Kco, no gems drop up above anymore, they use to I agree, that's really the whole issue

 

Yes. There is a limit that will prevent you from finding more than 3 vikland crystals of every type in the loot *while you have them in your inventory* but if you store some on your lot or in the bank you can loot more and then later fetch your stored ones to visit the hidden valley.

 

i just did the wave battle at the dais and got a black, a white, and a blue. are you hitting the three-per limit?

 

I'm in the middle every week I'm afraid they drop like crazy.

 

Ah ty for sharing, maybe I am wrong about them dropping at all, perhaps it was just the red that didn't I'll go play some more with it, may have to eat a lil crow.
