    I think most of the info in that link is still relevant, but it isn't up to date with the new taming skills/changes/additions. Still a useful beginner's guide.

    I'm not a tamer as my primary interest, but I run around with one a lot so I've had a lot of the vicarious excitement as taming has developed into a truly viable standalone tree. At the time of that post, tamed pets were more of a novelty, for roleplay purposes more than actual combat effectiveness. This is absolutely no longer the case - a taming specialist with well developed skills is now on par with other choices - (obviously, with some situations being more/less favorable).

    We did a "job fair" a while back as an event, and had books written by people "experts in their fields" - and I think there was one on taming. I'll try to bag you a copy for info.

    Duke Gréagóir has a pretty detailed one. I got permissions to publish it for him. :) I just need a basic one, to fit into a book, based on your narrative.
