I haven't and I'm glad you revived this.... maybe we should coordinate some standard wording at the fron of each text so everyone can find and assemble them easier...

    Maybe like:

    SotA Community First Series #X
    Particular Title
    Author
Then in the book title, since it's short maybe:

SCFS #X: [insert as much of title as will fit]

The important of the title is that it allows for easy sorting in containers and inventories.

Or if everyone was interested, I would be happy to format a master copy for everyone who has a story here and do the hard work of making them consistent.

I would really be interested in having a master copy to use as a template. I'd also like to know how to create a title page like in the example you posted at https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/f...-numer-nbbn-for-your-player-made-books.58249/
(Centered text, page break at the right spot)

It takes some amount of manual work to make sure it comes out centered. If you give me a little bit of time, I will create a text file for you to import to show you how it could be done...

I will PM you when I have it done... maybe get to it in 12 hours or so?

Here is an example to comment on. I show the text file used to create the cover page to the right. Basically, I have to adjust spacing and keep checking how it looks. I actually use pen and paper to measure the space on each side of a line on the screen! It takes some work, but it is the only tool we have right now.

Please tell me if you have any comments on:

    1) The book title (SCFS #1: The Road Not Taken). The acronym and the number insure and ordered list in inventory. And I will probably have to go back and make it '01' so it sorts properly since we have 20.
    2) The items on the title page. (Add/move/delete/change)
    3) Whether to assign everyone a special NBBN for this or we can all use our own numbers.
    4) Whether we should sell these, or give them away.

Once we agree on a format, I can try to contact as many as possible to get these in-game.

This looks great. I can see that there is a lot of trial and error involved. Good thing I bought 100 blank books to experiment with!
    1. The title is fine. It looks strange, but any collectors will know what it means. How about a similar naming convention for other series that people contributed to, such as the ones at http://thecaverns.net/roundtable/? Some of these have become inactive - it would be great to see further editions being added by players.
    2. I like the title page the way you set it up
    3. I think using the NBBN of the author would be the way to go. At least I haven't been able to come up with any reasons why that shouldn't work.
    4. I expect that a bookstore like your own would sell them, but authors will probably give them away? I don't know.

Thanks for the great feedback. Let's see if we can get a few more opinions before we move forward...

We could possibly consider a book trade between the original contributors, or perhaps just one commemerative event where we trade them.

After that they could be offered for sale - would we be able to agree on a low price (as gold was dear back in the old days when these were written)?

(EDITED for spelling. Oh dear, and that on @Vyrin 's thread!)
