Jumping - On Key Down/Up

    I would really love to see jumping initiated on key down, rather than key up.

    Yes, there is a subset of users who feel the same as yourself.

    Personally, I'm happy with the current implementation where you hold down the key longer to jump higher. :)

    This could still be accomplished in reverse. Press to begin the jump, release when at the desired peak.

    But then we lose the groovy charge-up animation.

    supposedly this will also make a lot more sense once endurance is enabled. I got used to it pretty quickly and I'm enjoying it so far.

    I like it too. I think it's a really fun way to jump.

    But it seems to create a disadvantage for skillful jumping, as you cannot decide to 'cancel' a large jump without actually doing the large jump.

    At this time anyway. I think that is something we will see by release.

    I don't see how that would be possible, but it would be nice. :)

    You put in a cancel button. Say "c" or "alt". Simple.
