Too bad you can't salvage the offhand orbs for gustball patterns...

Just drag the orb and start drawing, then place on the lot will display the frozen path :)

OHHHH, gotcha, so it's a quick screen grab before the effect fades from dragging. Cool! Maybe magical air paint brushes could be a thing, hehehe.

Hah... writing that down. If we do off-hand patterns, I'll definitely include those into the mix. Maybe make a craftable/lootable/equippable version of the gustball that has stats too. Down the road, but sounds fun :) I have mixed feelings about adding off-hands to patterns thow. The orbs, for instance, are very indicative of what the character is. It would be the last thing to hide so that you couldn't tell what someone is skill-wise just by glancing. But, why not is probably the eventual answer on that. Customization is nice to have, and if someone wants weild something that looks like an Anapa's Favor yet is actually an Aether Orb because it helps they obtain a look they seek... ya. Why not?

    Jabbering Bertha too ;)

Well, yeah, it seems kinda dumb to pattern the orbs, unless you're really picky about your outfit colors clashing with your orb. Perhaps a recipe to combine the offhand weapon with a gustball to make a giant orb gustball would make more sense.
