Details: After exploring the "forbidden" Frostgeist (sic! Is this the English name or German translation that made it into the English client somehow?) area parts of the Avatar and her pet are losing colour.

Believe this is part of an expected effect that occurs when avatars approach magic mirrors that are closely connected to the Frostgeists in this scene. An effect meant to resemble being partially covered in frost. The effect looks better in some instances than others, it appears. :)

Thank you Attenwood, the mirror then was somewhere in the main building on the "same level" as the effect only appeared in the spire's cupola.

Actually that's a frost decal that shouldn't be there. I'll remove it (thought I did, evidently I didn't). There is a frosting effect that occurs when you get too close to a mirror, but it's more subtle - frost breath and slight frosting FX around your avatar.

As for "frostgeist"; "frost" in German is "frost" and "spirit" or "ghost" in German is "geist". Combine them and you get frostgeist, which sounds a whole lot better than frostspirit, imo. Plus monsters always sound cooler using German word play. Worked great in Grimm.

As a German I have to protest that bad things sounds nicer in my native language ;)
No worries, was just not certain if it is by design or bug.
