Title: Avatar's hair turned red

Details: My avatar's hair was previously brown. Now it is red.
Steps to Reproduce:
User Specs:
OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8) System RAM: 16324
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 GPU RAM: 3020
SotA.EarlyAccess.Win.64.416.Date.11.10.16
Area: POT_island_metropolis_01_template/Rift's End
Area Display Name: Rift's End
Loc: (187.4, 89.0, -76.2)

 

I noticed that too. Two of the three brown shades appear to have turned into shades of red with the new version of hair. Submitted for review. thanks for reporting

you could chose to change your name to Lola...

This is probably a good thread to post this in. This happened to my character as well except my hair turned from dark grey to white, so I decided to spend 5 COTOs on the New You salon to check things out. Here are my results:
I will point out that what you see in the mirror is an accurate reflection of what the results will be when you are finished.

Grey (just a bit too white for my liking)

Here is a screen shot on how it actually looks like in the published server. With a splash of grey to make it more distinguished. Really would hate to change this when published.

I truly hope that I wont be forced to change my hair color because of this. I like it the way it is now.

Well, I just spent yet another 5 COTOs on the New You salon to check out the fixes in hair color.
Good news is that the brown hair appears to be fixed now, although the dark brown may still appear to have just a tinge of red in it, but perhaps subjective on my part.
However, the grey hair remains unchanged. Just to recap with screenshots:
The first screen shot is how my hair looks on the published server. I chose this particular style because it just has a tinge of grey in it, making my character look more distinguished.

And this is how it looks on the QA server, even after Mondays patch. (the look in the mirror is also how it looks after the makeover).

And one more shot out on the street in the morning. Even with that side facing the shadow, it still looks far too white for my tastes. The beard however, looks fine.


Now, perhaps this was the original intended look of the hair color, I don't know for certain, but it most certainly isn't to my personal liking.
You can see the difference between the two. The first has only a little bit of grey in it, the other is mostly gray hair. Now, I am certain that I am not the only
one that chose this hair style. If this is to be as it is going forward, then I would like the option of somewhere natural with just a splash of grey. (more like in the first screen shot).
I know that there are many who would prefer just a splash of grey in their hair.
Anyways, unless this reverts back to its original color, I will most likely be spending the 4 cotos I just earned play-testing this to change the hair color, which I really don't want to do.
I like the original hair color as it is.
If you could at least pass this on to the Devs, that would be great.

 

Unfortunately, I believe this is currently by design with the new hairstyles being incorporated for male and female avatars. I think part of this may also be impacted by an issue with the hair which is not properly applying environment effects to hair (shadow, haze, etc.)
