    @Attenwood really? So I target myself, (click name) buff. It buffs me. I hit escape. so nothing selected... I buff... it buffs my pet. Thats intended behavior?

    I had this issue as well.

    It was myself and my new Red Squirrel on my property. The squirrel was about 15' away, and NOT my target.
    I cast the Light spell and it put the light on him. :confused:

    I have been in the close proximity of Party members - without any of them selected as my target - and I'll heal someone else other than myself. :confused:

    This was supposed to have been fixed - where - if you did not have a friend selected, it would default to yourself - but this is NOT happening. :mad:

    @Attenwood
    In the R37 patch notes it is listed as a known issue: "Targeting: Beneficent spells hit un-selected pets, not the caster"

    However, beneficent spells also hit nearby team members, and not oneself. This is NOT listed as a known issue. It is now necessary to either manually target onself before casting any buff or light, etc. on oneself or hold down the ALT key while casting. This is very annoying and was fixed in a previous release, but it's back again!!! Please fix this! :)
