I think is likely the same issue reported by Alley Oop above, since location seems similar

No need to use fancy rings.

It can be done by sneaking through a small gap at the entrance to the scene. That will put you beside the maze area where you can run around to the back. Then climb up the mountain face grass areas. It puts you in a spot where you can slide down to the scene's base and jump off. Eventually you fall through the world, hot a collision plane that puts you back at the entrance.
