    Title:Brittany Alleys Hitch spot
    Reproduction Rate:Once
    Blocker?No
    Details:

Getting solid 20 - 30 fps depending on what direction I am looking in Alleys. The boats no longer cause hitching (so far.) Running from the docks, directly south, the following location was a big hitch, right as the snowpeople on the right, and some decorations on the left appeared.

I know one of the problems you're experiencing is nailing down rouge shaders, maybe this helps.

Steps to Reproduce: Zone in from the docks in Alleys, run south on the main drag.
    User Specs:
    OS: Windows 10 (10.0.0) 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5820K CPU @ 3.30GHz (12) System RAM: 32603
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU RAM: 8110
    SotA.EarlyAccess.QA.Win.64.510.Date.06.20.17
    Area: Novia_R3_City_Brittany_Alley
    Area Display Name: Brittany Alleys
    Loc: (-22.6, 44.5, 109.2)

You can get one repeatedly here:

Looking directly south, as the far selling stand pops its wares in and out. Ie, back up and they disappear, run forward and when they appear they cause a hitch. Back up, run forward, same hitch.

After doing it several time, it stopped hitching.

    Area Display Name: Brittany Alleys
    Loc: (49.5, 44.5, 57.0)

I'm getting some pretty apparent popping in of items. Above mentioned bread and such, triangular hanging banners in the central area, REALLY noticeable on the shiny material that is on the stone blocks that line the roads.

Going to bug the last one separately.

    Thank you for the reports.

Brittany Alleys is a notoriously dense scene for player decorations. The hitches you're describing sound like the currently known behavior of moving into a new area and triggering the loading of decorations in adjacent houses nearby.

We are continuing to work on performance across the game, and this is definitely an area of performance we have on our radar to address in the future.

The reason I reported this specifically is because I could see what is popping in and I know you are trying to nail down specific shaders that aren't preloading.

Is this helpful, specific hitch spots with facing? Or not so much?

Unfortunately, we did not see specific hitching tied directly to the assets you mentioned, but did observe it in the relative locations where homes and decos were spawning in together.

So do I run around locations posting these or no? I'd be willing to put in a few hours today but don't want to unless you find them useful.

We're aware of the general issue caused by the loading of decorations causing hitching. You do not need to report each instance of it occurring.
