[Known] Charged attack and locked glyph charging stopping prematurely

    Note: previously filed on QA under Bug # 52841. Bug persists in R48 Live Build 693.

    Comment from Attenwood on the QA bug: "This looks like a break that appeared in response to a recent change to avoid broken charging when entering water. Now whenever an attack animation ends and returns to combat idle (occurs for either free attack or auto attack), any existing charge ends prematurely. We'll fix this ASAP."

    Charged attack and locked glyph are stopping prematurely - usuallly around the 25% to 35% mark.

    Normally - when you hold down free attack (to charge), or a locked glyph (to charge) - it progresses smoothly from 0 to 100% (fully charged).

    Now - sometimes the charge won't start (say 10% of the time).

    When it does start, around 25-50% of the time, the glyph stops charging at around 25%, without the glyph being fired, no fizzle - the charging bar just disappears.

    For the charged attack - it's particularly noticeable if you move around and try to charge an attack - the charging just fails a certain % of the time (failure to start charging, or failing without notice 25% of the way through the charge).

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Lock skills on your bar - e.g. Fortify Defense, Glancing Blow
    2) Hold down key to charge skill
    3) Hold down the free attack to charge an attack
    4) Attack mob repeatedly with charged attack (e.g. Torc'Dawl, Reaper)

    5) Observe that a certain portion of the time
    - the skill fails to charge (with a red border around the skill)
    - the charging bar disappears without notice 25% of the way through charging

    Bug was tested to be fixed but then seems to have returned in a later build! bah!
    Bug has been re-opened.

    It was never fixed, I saw the same thing all the way through R47.

    Did not have this issue during R47, but Charged attack randomly stops, started this morning.

    Also seeing charged attack ending prematurely all the time, from the first one, out of combat, onward, I will try logging out and NOT entering water...

    This is definitely still broken, seems much worse when using Crossbow of Accuracy, not sure about other crossbows, but charged shot is literally un-useable with this crossbow. This is with patch 696.

    The cause has been found, and will be fixed in the next patch. If you refrain from using any glyphs, you can charge your shots. ;) Kind of hard to do though and fight effectively...

    Confirmed. Known issue still existing for bows. Will be fixed in next patch.
