Title: Consuming Obsidian Item of Unlearning scroll yet does not unlearn the skill

Details: I think you should not consume a Obsidian Item of Unlearning scroll if the level will remain at 80. It would be frustrating to spend 3 cotos on a scroll and not realize it won't work.
Steps to Reproduce: Bring up Blades tree and right click on Blades Specialization and select Instant Unlearn. The Obsidian item of Unlearning is consumed, but the skill remains at 80. I received a confirm pop up that it will stay at level 80, it should not consume the scroll if no points will be returned.

** To be more clear, there is no Forget skill option in QA for the Blades Mastery once I forgot the skill Blades Specialization. I can Forget Coup De Grace, but then I cannot forget or unlearn Whirling Blades. That is what this bug report is for. **

@Duke Gréagóir that is a known issue and Port said they would change that - but no release date
(sry can't search atm for the relevant post)

ATM Each skill wiht a following Skill can't be unlearned under the minimum for the next skill (only for specialisation it's 80 others have 50, 40 or 20 as minimum)

In another twist in the area of this bug, I'm here to report that the "Unlearning" tool tip gives erroneous information regarding the amount of xp's you'll receive upon current use.
Please see the images from relevant screenshots below for the details.

 

Moving on to yet another, related, bug - the "Unlearning" process tells me that I can reduce my current 69 skill in Blue Blooded to 80 !

It also tells me that it'll give me 270,205 xp's for doing so.

As you can see by the screenshot images below, it does NEITHER !

Thank you @FrostII for the screen shots! That shows exactly what I may of missed with my text description.

 

Okay, I did some testing with this. While at unlearned (zero in the spec for that spell tree!) the spell/skill above it is not unlearning correctly with the unlearning scroll. *If* you had the spec at 1 or higher, I could see it being stuck at 80. Plus the XP return numbers don't reflect what is actually put in your pool as noted above. The general rules with pre-reqs (which some people do get confused by) do indeed seem off. Whirling Blades doesn't have a child if the Spec has already been completely forgotten. I'm not sure why it went to 40 in my attempts. There is no child, but it is acting like there is one.

**Important**
Now in terms of how Forget spells work (different from unlearning) skills can only be forgotten when: 1) They are at or below 20 AND 2) The player does not know any of the child skills in the tree.

Both of these factors are critical.

Forgot spells and unlearning are two different things. So to unlearn life specialization, for example, I'm not going to be able to right click it at level 80 and select 'Forget'. I have to unlearn it (can use a scroll) and take it down to level 1. THEN I can right click on it and select 'forget'. If try to forgot a spec while you have it above level 20, you're gonna have a bad time.

I think you all have grasped that by your feedback, but I wanted to explain that for anyone else who may not know. Start from the bottom and work your way up if you are trying to unlearn whole trees. Be sure to forget skills before moving on to the next one up. The bug discovered here is very situational.

Thank you for the information. What I did was unlearn the specialization, forget the specialization, then I had to turn down the next higher level block to the double red arrows, then I could gain a different skill and reduce that higher level block was turned to unlearn. I could not use another scroll to unlearn that higher level block and had to slowly drain it.
