Details:
I was leaving The Epitaph when I noticed a tooltip that said "Open Gate". I realized it was referring to the normally open main gate to the Epitaph entrance and decided to try it, because it was shiny and candy-like. (It is a bit confusing that it says "open" gate when the gate is already open, but that isn't the bug.) The gate closed as expected. Then I tried to open it. It started to open, then slammed shut.
Steps to Reproduce:
- go to just inside the Epitaph outer wall at the gate (loc above)
- select the door and hit E or double-click
- see door close
- select the door and hit E or double-click again
- door starts to open for a moment, then shuts
There seems to be no other way out of the courtyard, so it looks like I'll have to either Start On World Map or exit and wait for the instance to go away.

I am trying to repro, but no luck so far. On my point of interest it says "outer gate" and the gate remains open no matter what I do to try to close it.
Very strange. Let me know if there is something I might be missing.

 

The point where you have to click can somehow be very hard to find. Watch for your cursor to turn green. One time I had to really shift around to find it.

 

I tried earlier to reproduce this again and simply couldn't find a place to click to activate the gate. Maybe someone ninja-patched the clicky area away? It doesn't seem like the kind of thing that gets ninja-patched without at least a reference in the patch notes.
