[Known] Elf Scalp Bug?

4. I go to Alberic once I'm told to find elf scalps and am given a choice to tell the truth or lie. I choose lie. Now he just says something about it being "peculiar" that I'm looking for them. I then try to kill corrupted elves, search elf bodies on poles, etc. to no avail. The compass only leads me back to Alberic who refuses to cooperate now. Is this a bug, the end of the quest for me or am I doing something wrong?

Corrupted elves and staked elves won't have the scalps you need. You can either loot the dead body of one of the refugee camp elves that fell victim to an enemy, or go north/north-west and find some Obsidian Elves in which to fight and scalp. I'll make a Jira to write that into the task hint and journal entry.

Thinking about it, I may even put the scalps needed on corrupted elves. Makes sense.

@Puuk in former releases as i did that story-part the corrupted elves already did get them as loot (and i got more than enough of them then )

 

Something may have changed because I killed around a dozen corrupted elves and didn't find one scalp.

 

They did indeed USED to drop from corrupted elves, but they would drop all the time off them - on the quest or not. I removed them back then.
