[Known] NPC limits overflowing

Title: NPC limits overflowing

Details: I saw this in build 750 - still seeing it in 751. Trying to move an NPC vendor on my lot, the housing UI says "3/2 npcs placed. overflowing!" @Raven Swiftbow also experienced this as well.

When you remove all NPC the count should read zero. After that it should work normal.

 

Same problem. I cannot remove all of the NPCs because one is a vendor, this would require restocking it. For those that have to pay vendor fees, this can be a little expensive.

Agreed - not only is it a pain to restock a vendor that several people may use, it would get expensive for a non-commissioned vendor.

fwiw i had a similar problem last night, i only had one NPC down.

It was the first NPC i'd placed (right after claiming the lot), but it wouldn't let me place a second. I was able to work around it by using a co-owner character, who was allowed to place the 2nd NPC.

 

I removed a NPC (Ghost Raven Pet) and picked up into inventory.
- NPC disappeared from the scene (persistent between re-connect).
- NPC count remains still used.
- Item did not return to inventory.

 

@Kai PoT I would double check your inventory (make sure you're not in a tab limiting what you can see), bags, containers, bank, etc - and if you can't find it, email support@portalarium.com - giving the details and approximate timing of what happened.

 

I have same issue. "8/5 NPC placed. Overflowing!" A few days ago I picked up my vendors since they were empty. All three of them. Had two other NPC/pets placed that were non-vendor. I placed 2 clockwork monkey pets still leaving one NPC available for placement. I logged into game today and it states 8 placed.

 

Sometimes it helps to re-enter the zone/town/instamce. But not re-login to the LOT.

 

Not working for.... keeping me from rearranging my dummies in the basement now.
