I get through the entire Path of Courage to King Korabar, watch Demig sacrifice himself for peace, and get teleported back to Valhold Palace.

So after 17 minutes, Grannus doesn't show up and there's nothing to do except exit Valhold Palace.

Spoiler: Aftermath

When I return to Valhold Palace, it's the time before but I cannot proceed (no Baton headpiece). I ran back to Skrekk but it's not a Solo instance and the King Korabar no longer talks to me.

Can you at least reset the quest flags for me so I can get another Baton headpiece! I'd love the reward at the end!!

I may have to watch the video and see what I did wrong... Wish we could reset our quest flags though to help more on this debug!

 

This is a known issue. I'm sorry for the trouble, as I know this is a major quest chain.

 

Make you a deal, @Lexie... if you can clear my quest flag for this one I will dedicate two more hours to whatever bugs you want me to explore!!

 

God I had to chat drag her across the castle to get her to her room. It only took half an hour....

I did another playthough for offline mode and I only had to type in Demig twice to finish, I think once with Essen and with Grannus, the other keywords were in the dialogue. This is from the walkthrough.
