[Known]Pet resurrection and loss

Again Pets cannot be resurrected even though message indicates 100%. This has resulted in loss of pet and 10K gp.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'again' but I need to make sure, as some were reporting this as a bug previously: are you trying to use the pet rez skill? I have to ask because the life rez will no longer work with pets by design.
Do you get any kind of feedback back?

 

Same happened to me. Basically the bug is if your pet dies and you are not in range you cannot rez the pet.

My pet died and I could not find it. Normally you just cast res pet and your pet would rez. This is not working with this patch.

 

Ugh life res doesn't work on pets anymore? i hope pet res works better than before... the reason i gave up on the pet res skill is because i got it up to 50 and had to cast 20+ times before it would work on obsidian bears.. by which time my pet would usually decay and be gone forever.

 

Uh I just lost my per to this seems the res fails even thow I was standing near the [et could see it but no res, out a spider BS
R41 I was ressing the pet even when I could not even see the body.
Now I coul not res even when In sight.

ok loss of pet an not being able to resurrect it has happened again.... this has become a serious issue that seems to come back almost every release. through all this I have lost 5 ferocious red spiders and 6 obsidian bears and 2 ferocious brown spider.. the bears are tamable for me but the ferocious red spiders are not which means I have lost over 100k from this repeating bug. never have had them replaced...... an that is the total

details: tamed red ferocious spider died while fighting, tried to resurrect it while using pet resurrection an did not work I tried an tried an tried repeatedly tell pet could no longer be resurrected and was lost.
steps to reproduce: tamed red ferocious spider fights and gets killed, then use pet resurrection
user specs:

I experienced the same. I was standing next to my dead pet with a 100% success chance to rez but it did nothing.

HOWEVER, I discovered that I had to SELECT my dead pet and have it show up as TARGETED before my rez was successful.

While still a bug, at least there is a way to rez pets.....if you win the battle.....and if you can find their poor dead bodies.

 

It's supposed to work if you are in the same scene and was improved in a prior release.

Last night I was getting a <1% chance to rez if not at the corpse but still in same scene. The spell cast, it looked like it failed as far as I could tell, but I checked my whistle and there it was. Happened 3 times like this. Maybe others thought it was not working but it is really still there.... or maybe a recent patch broke it again.

 

next ? since it is clearly a bug and I was in sight of my spider at least 6 attempts do I get my Whistle refilled? I posted bug report so the log should be clear and easy to see?

 

46472 ? It is actually pretty important to know if this is by design, that we cannot res just being in same scene or have to be over our pets corpse, and ETA on a fix. I know there is little care for taming (statement deal with it or, un-train it proves that( but there are still players who use pets sooooo?

 

I shold have known better but this is 2nd FRS lost even thow I was withing 3 steps of corpse

I really would like my whisltes refilled.

And some ack of a bug or what actual changes where made to compensate

I am experiencing the same bug. Pet rez would not revive the pet even when standing beside it's dead body, however I tried the Life Rez and it did work.

My guildie wasn't as lucky, lost his pet.
