Details: Purify shows as being cast but (1) doesn't appear in the buffs, (2) doesn't apply when cast.

I'm not sure that isn't a sdesigned now. If you look at the tooltip, it just clears a negative effect (or something like that). There isn't any other effect that is part of the spell. (I was sure it did a +20 death resistance buff at one time, but noticed in R57 that the tooltip no longer says it applies that buff.) Unless you are referring to something different as to what Purify is supposed to be buffing.

 

If it were as designed, we would have received an update in patch notes.

 

When i started with the game purify has a chance to remove some negative effects. Then death resistance was added since then it is a buff. It was also said the purify will recast every 3 second when specialized in healing, but that never worked.
For a few weeks they removed the death resistance from purify, but it was still shown as buff.

Actually one can use purify blast to get a death resistance buff.

But as @Tila Tenderfoot said, no info in patch nodes or somewhere else.

 

Yes, precast purify burst works but is a hassle if you have to switch between decks when the burst runs out and you are a life archer who moves to avoid getting hit...

 

You can stack/load purify blast. With life spec up to 6 times. This will increase duration and death resistance. You can still use purify to get rid of negative effects on your main deck.

 

As said before, purify still doesn’t remove any negative effects.

Please confirm which negative effects it removes right now, because I have noticed none removed . I didn’t take purify from the main deck and test it several times a day.

And I know how to stack.

 

Either broken or the work on it. Need some time to patch (guess 5 mins or so). You are on the QA?

Edit Build 741:
Purify removes fire dots and poison. So still working. It is not a buff anymore.
Bleeds and slow effects are not removed with purify. (Healing grace and escape)

 

What I find weird is that the life spell doesn’t give death resist, hehe.
Not on QA yet unfortunately.
