[Known] Quest line rewards not working

Just a heads up, I've finished Truth and Love in the last few days and they aren't currently giving 100k reward. May want to wait until this is resolved to complete.

 

The same thing happened to me on the Path of Courage with Grannis.

 

Yeah same with Path of the Oracle.

 

Same here, did the Courage quest and got the Sceptre of Dread. No 100K XP alas.

 

Odd, I did Path of Love last night and got my 100k exp along with the Heart of Sorrow

 

It appears to be somewhat random. Of my party of 3 who fought their way to the kobold city, two got their XP but I did not.

 

@Numa how did you do the quest in a party? It forced me to solo it.

 

We fought our way in through the spider cave and through the kobold guards outside the main gate. Once outside the gate , we disbanded the party and entered the kobold city one by one. No hostile NPC's anyway once inside - at least for the duration of the quest.

 

I also did the Path of Love and gained no exp. Got the other reward.

 

And while I was at it I also finished Path of Courage, zero exp again. So I'm down 200k now

... onward to Truth.

 

Ditto. Finished last night and while it SAID I got 100k xp I really didn't. It MIGHT have just given me crafting XP but I can't be sure.

 

I wouldn't hold out too much hope for a quick resolution, bug 37598 has been around since December.

I completed this quest on 3 separate characters in R43 and got XP every time. This thread isn't just about the Path of Love.. it seems to be all Paths.. Oracle included. They can't really let this one sit for months.

 

i have done love and courage yesterday and today, an neither have given the 100k xp reward

 

And finished Truth just now too, once again got the text I got 100k exp, but got none.

So I'm down 300k exp from these chains now.

 

So, what happens, are we just out the experience? I was solo when I finished the Path of Courage and didn't receive my experience.

I understand that devs don't care if bugs piss us off or not, but what's the point in playing a game where the main story quests are not rewarding for completing them.

I even heard that when they fix the bug we have to redo the quests again, not sure if that is true or not, but that's hours of Time I'm already out. Hoping we hear something soon.

 

I did the paths some releases before - and received the 100.000 XP in every quest.
So I wonder how something worked before is not working now?
It's pitiable for all people taking the time and effort to do this long way for nothing.
I hope it will be managed to give the XP to those Avatars, doing the questlines in the timeline as known it will not work ...
I think there are flags inside and hope it is possible to solve it in a good way

 

Because before it sometimes worked and sometimes didn't, and now it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Even though the game is in a testing phase and we are helping test it, we're not allowed to repeatedly test the quests to figure out repeatable scenarios because of the opportunity for exploits. Instead we get a single quest reset token and just have to hope it works next time.

 

That bug was fixed within a week and a half (12/20). This is a seperate issue which is being addressed ASAP.

Infinite quest resets would make XP and gold generation (and thus the game) trivial.
