The Sow Seed Bonus skill cannot be learned at the Crafting Trainer, even though the requisite Water Plant Level = 10 has been acquired.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Increase Water Plants skill to level 10+
2) Go to crafting trainer
3) Observe that the Sow Seed Bonus skill is unable to be learned

I just found out from @Lexie that the sow seeds skill fix didn't make it into the build that was made available. It wasn't hooked up properly, but will be trainiable in an upcoming patch. No special trainers or quests required to get this skill, only thing equired is patience and waiting for the right patch to come out.

 

Stickying because this is going to be a popular question.
This should be fixed in patch 1. There is no special NPC skill quest or a master trainer or anything; there was an error with the skill hook up with the crafting trainer NPCs. We just couldn't get the fix in live for today.

I was able to learn it; however, I cannot slot sow seeds as it will not drag and drop like the others. Both Harvest and Water have a drag and drop icon.

However, Sow Seeds is gaining experience whenever I water a seed or use the olde crafting plant seeds interface. I do not have an option to specify more than one iteration.

Drag your seeds to the non-combat bar. Then you can use it with a targeted area of effect sowing seed.

 

Thanks. Maybe they should update the tool tip on the skill to indicate usage.

 

Well, to be fair, @DarkStarr did explain how to use this new skill in the R46 Instructions post (search the page for Agriculture) and it is also explained in the revised Published Player Instructions Google Doc too.
