Details:
Every now and then I would see, somewhere in an area, a non-moving phoenix model with its wings stretched out. I've seen this happen a few times in other places, but in this particular location it is the easiest to notice.

Steps to Reproduce:
- Enter Rhun Vault from Graff Gem Mines basement
- go to middle of room at (0, 0, 0)
- summon phoenix
- see bird "statue" appear on floor in front of coffin at the same time
- dismissing pet doesn't make it go away
- if you leave the scene and quickly return, the fake bird is gone (but what happens if a second player is there?)

 

hmm. the broken ghost i saw at kas vault was at that spot too. whatever it's doing, it's not just summons.

 

@Elwyn I was not able to repro this. If it is easy, I must be missing something? I'm also on Nvidia (different model) but I'm on Windows 10.

 

I could literally do this 100% of the time. I was actually surprised that I could see it rez in at the same time my bird started. Next time I'm in there I'll try it on OS X as well.

 

Here's an image of it with the current QA 509. I couldn't get the best image because I was playing via remote screen, and the cursor mode key wasn't working, so I couldn't tilt up for a better view. Still downloading the OS X QA client.

 

And on the OS X client too...



If only the bird ended up right on top of the box, then it would look like the Lost Ark.

 

I meant to quote you on that last post so you would get pinged by it. Anyhow, I've replicated it with screen shots on both OS X and Windows, so it's not likely to be a client configuration or OS version or GPU-specific problem.

 

I figured out what I was doing. I was using the fire elemental not the Phoenix....
