[Known] Troll Encounter from Novia doesn't drop Troll Ribs

Details: I've killed enough trolls to have gotten 6 troll heads and 5 Troll Hip Bones but zero Troll Ribs
Steps to Reproduce: Kill Trolls from the Novia encounter.

Can you please double check that the rib cage is able to drop off these guys? This seems a little steep at this point to be bad luck.

 

Spent a total of 3+ hours killing trolls at roughly a pace of loading start to loading end of the encounter in ~4-5 minutes and still did not see any troll rib cages. Fairly sure there's something wrong with the drop rate or they plain don't have the rib cages in their loot table.

No problem. But don't thank me yet - it seems you were on to something. They won't drop from the troll anymore but from the bundles. I'm glad you reported it and I'm sorry for the confusion.

 

@Lexie - Let me just be sure I'm understanding correctly. The way I understand this is it is intended that trolls no longer drip rib cages and these are now solely out of bundles instead.

If this is the case please find something sharp and pointy and help me administer justice to all involved <3.

 

Upon review, it looks like they are set up as expected. There's a significantly reduced drop for Troll Ribs from normal mountain trolls. The drop rate for Torc'dawl in Ravensmoor is more reliable.
