    Details: UI latency - There is a noticeable delay when opening the "Options" menu.
    Steps to Reproduce: Hit "ESC" key.
    User Specs:
    OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601) 64bit
    CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU W3550 @ 3.07GHz (4) System RAM: 24573
    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 GPU RAM: 1990
    SotA.EarlyAccess.QA.Win.64.551.Date.09.20.17
    Area: Novia
    Area Display Name: Novia
    Loc: (163.5, 15.6, 338.0)

    What kind of delay are we talking about?
    I'm trying to repro in 552 and it seems to be about the same as it was before, so I wonder if we're seeing the same thing?

    Hey @Lexie - it's a hitching type behavior.. I just tried on the Release server, and it's about the same -- so it's not a specific bug with the QA build alone..

    I'll be so happy if the hitching when opening and closing the options menu can be fixed. It's a problem when I hit one too many ESC keys to get out of something, or when I'm too late with the ESC key to cancel something.
