    This is by design. There is no good way to get the head bandage to work with all the hairstyles. The ornate version has the same 'cap' look yet it doesn't show any exposed skin, keeping the skull completely covered. This one has a gap between bandages in the back. To only have some hair there, well it would probably look odd :)
