Level to Trade

I hate it personally...

 

I'd prefer if they were restricted to recieving only.

 

I can't vote because I don't know the reasoning behind it. There must be some abuse of the trading going on.

A "real" player who does the tutorial quests in the starter area will be level 15 by the time he gets out. Before that he has no need of special stuff.

 

Well I encountered this the other day with one of my other characters.

So I can't trade from that character BUT...

I can drop it in a shared chest and I CAN Mail It to the intended trader.

So being that there are already MULTIPLE Ways a Level 15 or below CAN trade in the game this is A Totally USELESS Function.

My 2 Cents.

Get rid of it ... it really don't make any sense.

Restrict it to trial accounts only. Let paid accounts trade between each other regardless of level. this is to avoid exploiting after all, and there is no exploit of the player has paid their 40 odd bucks

 

You can be AL15+ before you leave the starting areas... Why is it such a problem?
I doubt they would have coded the restriction if there weren't some abuse that it inhibits.

 

About all I can see it would do is keep you from re-rolling an alt and trading things to it. But I can't see why. If it's a paid account, it's a paid account.

The [Visitor] restriction makes complete sense, maybe even better than they were originally thinking, but unless they can give us an idea of a reason behind it, this level 15 restriction would probably be better gone.

And yes, that's even with being able to reach it quickly, between how little XP it takes at low levels, and the 10000/day you get just for logging in. I just can't see it affecting me unless I decided to re-roll an alt. I can see this potentially being a problem in QA, but since most QA is done with solo play, meh.
