You mean random loot like in UO to help lower level players...

Actually, some potions are "the good stuff". Just take a look at what's required to make say a potion of elemental resistance.

 

Sure , but who needs said potions the most ? low level players... and I say this from a very punitive perspective because talking about levels in a ultima sucessor makes my teeth grind.

We've seen players solo dragons... I doubt they will need potions anyways ?

 

I thought the goal was to make mid level mobs have better loot, not high end mobs. The mobs that I am talking about already drop the "good stuff" and now they added a 1 in 20 chance to drop the bags.

 

@Chris 4 hours of farming in twins foothills tier 5 zone with some tier 8 mob, didn't see any satchel: cashflow from bandit 2-3k per hour, if this is the economy balance and tier 5-8 mobs are the mid level, when more then half of the people can just farm or grind easly with tier 4 mob, i think something is not going as planned ;oh from new release sell data on our 12 vendors is ZERO, the price are the same of the past weeks and lower them will not work cause high end players will just buy underprice to resell or stack up waiting more players so don't tell the problem are the prices we put on vendor ; Now i really don't know and have a clue about what you are aiming for and as i said i will just to stop care about cause i spendended too much words to post, explain, pm a thing that is easy and just wait till you realize the difference beetween reality and what you plan or figure out things should work, if you think the changes you are doing will affect who stacked up tons of igg or is able to stack up piles of igg you are wrong, all that will just effect normal players, and satchel that drop 5 igg of JUNK, the ways to make them usefull and help new players was a lot but maybe put inside a coal instead of bread, a curing salt instead of corn, empty flask instead of fish was too much and maybe should unbalance the economy.... really i can figure out many reasons to cut the economy before the final release, but to erase IGG in game without wipe them and without kill 80% of the game fun are many and are Others.

They said orange was the rarest... we've seen all other colors so

 

I'm pretty sure that gray is the lowest. I've gotten like six or eight of those. It's the other two that I'm not sure about. Maybe gray -> blue -> yellow -> orange?

I have looted 4-5 gray bags in DR, around 12 yellow bags in The Rise, and one blue one in the Rise. Unless blue drops somewhere in between DR and The Rise, I would say gray > yellow > blue> orange.

 

Now bundles seem dropping as planned and told in patch notes in all zones.

 

FWIW, loot bundles won't be able to drop localized loot because they only generate loot when opened.

But I agree, it would be good to see more local loot. The thing is, they haven't gotten around yet to uncloning so many adventure scenes, which is more important because it is more visible to new players at release.

 

So I go out of town for a few days and a couple of patches. I farm for a couple of hours and get 6 bags and they dont look good at all... Here are a few of them.

 

potion of elemental resistance is actually pretty big. it takes a phoenix talon to make.

 

The grey ones do show up in Serpent's Spine Foothills.
