Loot bundles

I think the loot system overall needs a lot of work, but I actually kinda like the supply bundles. Obviously their value is relatively insignificant, but I've been getting enough scrolls and repair kits that it's saved me some town runs.

so it wasn't divided, nor separated into simpler substances or decomposed

It was simply opened... its a bundle common...

 

I agree for the most part. Chests are much better for repair kits though.

If it were "simply opened" you would still have the bag. Yes?
Separated into simpler substances. The Loot Bag is complex, the contents are the the simpler things. You destroy the original to get the components.

it is an alternate fact world... so might as well break down bundles instead of opening them

 

Just opening them would destroy the dyeable leather bag market! Think of the children! Oh the mass hysteria as the economy of leather bags implodes!

Luckily Port was forward thinking on this one, just like when they put mid loot balance on high end mobs. Or spelled out the color order. Maybe it is in the player's handbook? I have not read that in 3 years.
