    I didn't put in any requirement for when it can happen. It's mostly irrelevant to the storyline and is just there for flavor.

    ...but he's not in his camp after the questline is complete:

    ...and he's not in valhold either, which looks like a bug: i see the restored healthy grannus, essen, and mara.

    You can pick up the task from Ferig while he's available in his camp. If you don't finish the task soon enough, it will auto-complete itself at the point when Ferig becomes unavailable at the camp.

    Just to make sure I understand, before doing the path of courage you can do this wine quest, and turn it in. You cannot start this quest once you have finished the path of courage. Is this how it’s supposed to be?

    Essentially, this is correct. As long as you can meet with Lord Ferig in his camp, you can start the quest with him and finish the quest with him.

    Well that sucks. I wanted to do that quest. Not that its important as you said...but would be nice if those who finished the quest could do it. Bah.
