    ... is a little puny?
I mean, compared to the Village home.

I wouldn't say "puny." I think this house looks fairly large. Even from the pictures it seems that it would take forever just to get enough stuff to decorate it or even come up with ideas for the rooms on how to decorate. They said you could fit a village home inside of the Lord's home. It looks, to me, like you could fit a Lord's home into the Manor.

    It's quite a view, I think.

Regarding the smaller versions for Dukes and Barons I hope for more balconies on the front and/or roof. And maybe a little more playfull/brighter design.

He used my weapon racks! Woohoo! Call me a little geeky but I'm totally drooling over the bookshelves requiring a ladder. (Though they're probably just regular bookshelves that are stacked which is pretty cool in of itself).

    Definitely not puny...

If the village lot is 20 x 30 m, then by my estimation: a town lot is 40 x 60 m and a city lot is 80 x 120 m. Just for reference, that's much bigger than a football field.

Bad math. Just used mspaint to cut-and-paste the lots and 2 village lots fit inside a town lot, and 4 in a city lot.

I want to see the Duke and LOTM castles. I can't see anyone choosing this home over the water lot castle.

This is not scientifically accurate or anything....but if the manor cost $11k and the add on house cost $150...it would need to be about 73 times as big. In picture I can almost fit 18 add on houses on it...with some to spare. 18 x the 5 stories is 90. I didn't even count the back of the home...which would be about 8 -12 more houses although it would be a porch. So..the house might be considered puny but I think with the tier bonuses that it may be worth it. For $30 more dollars you can add a freakin' arena to it which the village can't contend. If you can afford this...I think it's worth it....as far as it being puny....it's puny with perks.

I like the dark bricks and the blue shiney roof aesthetically it's very pleasing and the interior looks increadible I'm surprised that you've made it look so good with so many in game assets still yet to be designed great job. It's also good to see this property doesn't suffer the same staircase problem we have seen on a couple of the other propertys to.
The size of the house is huge I like the idea of the property being 4 stories but the property takes up so much land space. I understand that some people would love this idea as they have little or no use for vacant land on there property however I would like to see some options for reasonable size housing that grants more land space.
So building up not out this would grant more land space for people that wish to have a winery, orchard, farm animals, stable, swimming pool and so forth on there property. (I understand a lot of this may not even be in the game but down the track these could come in as additions perhaps)

I see something like the lord of the manor city home with a back veranda overlooking the swimming pool/bath house.

I don't think it works that way in real life. The square feet of a home is only one of many parts of a homes worth.

In my opinion, no. I don't think it's small at all.

I think these *are* the LotM "castles" in the pledge reward. From the description in the Update:
"This home is available only as a reward in the Lord of the Manor Pledge level. A sprawling four-story mansion, comprised of nine spacious rooms, and open-air decks on the first and fourth floors!"

So you can't get this city home unless you're a LotM, and it looks like that's their reward.

It will be interesting to see what they do for the waterfront option, since that reward description says:
"A uniquely identifiable Founder's, waterfront, grand, island Castle with Keeps"

Yes, this is the Lord of the Manor castle that Stephen first developed quite some time ago, with some modifications.

How many people commenting in here are actually LotMs?

To my mind concidering the contribution they have made the only people whos aproval is relivent for this is those who are at that level and MAYBE some of the Dukes who are looking at upgrading.

If they think its small it should be changed, if they like it it should stay, hell if they want indervidually designed houses they should get them.
