Lost Vale entry Options

Let me start by saying I enjoy playing SOTA but enjoy it even more when I can play with friends. Hence the problem, our group typically forms up most evenings between 9-10pm CDT for a couple hours of time playing through different dungeons or quests. We have been trying to figure out how to get into the Lost Vale but with the narrow window the portal is open and the fact that it is always open at either 12,4 or 8 a.m./p.m. has made so far impossible for our group to enjoy this content. So we are asking you consider options to allow everyone to gain access at some point to Lost Vale. We thought of a couple options (but there may be others).

1. Extend the portal window to 4 hours, so when it opens at noon, the portal will close at 4 pm but the next portal will not open for 28 hours, this change would have the effect over the course of a couple weeks having the portal open at least for some point at every period of the day. This also seems like it would be the simplest change to implement.

2. Create a system (like a ticket) where you can go to the portal at predetermined time and get a ticket that allows entry at a later point in time. Seems like this would be more difficult but would allow for more coordination of groups.

There may be other options but we are just looking for ways to enjoy the content of the game.

Is it possible one of your friends DOES have the time, beforehand, to get into the Portal and go there. Then later you and your friends just Teleport to your friends location using a scroll?

 

that only works for the hour that the gate is open. after that anyone trying to teleport in will be kicked right back out.

 

We even managed to get most of us in last night right before the cutoff and some were private some were multiplayer and when the multiplayer tried to switch to private because the portal had closed they got kicked to the Novia map.

 

Its ever 28 hours it opens, so eventually it will get to everyones time zones.

 

Not really since it opens every 28 hours it always opens at 12, 4 and 8 either a.m. or p.m. and only stays open for an hour. So if you only play from 10-12 you never get a shot at Lost Vale.
