When the Devs design NPC Towns such as Owl's Head or Solania, some of the lots are pre-populated by a sample home. This house cannot be decorated but it can be walked through. It goes away when the lot is purchased.

I am asking that the Lot Placement/Marker Gump (where you can set who can claim the lot) also have the choice to place a sample home on the lot. Using the existing arrow slider for the house chooser would be perfect. The sample house can erase if the lot is adjusted, and re-picked after.

This way when we design our towns, or someone moves out we can see where a home might be or what the town may look like. On gravel stone the place markers are difficult to see and even more difficult to imagine exactly where the house will sit or if a 4 story row house will conflict with a tree or ruin a view.

When the lot is claimed it can simply still revert to an empty lot or in the case of the Row house, the 2 story one. Nobody gets anything, and most of all the tech is already coded/working somewhere else in the game.

Of coarse we should still have the option for blank as some places you want to keep the trees until claimed, or have that "grow over time" look. :D
