People have put up monster suggestion lists before !

This one is focused on monsters that would be relatively easy to put in, because there are models available in the Unity Asset store, 3D models available on other stores, or can be easily adaptable from existing models in the game. I'm also purposely excluding special or rare monsters that the devs would want to create unique models for themselves (like they did for dragon, troll, etc.) This will be for less unique mobs.

Small pictures represented below are copied from the Unity Asset store; bigger ones are good examples I found in other 3D asset stores. Obviously many of these would need to be touched up by the devs, just like they had to touch up the models they already put in from the Unity store.

    GIANT BEETLE
    [IMG]
Something like this would be great in desert environments and in narrow cave tunnels. The model on the Unity store also includes wings and flying animations. It would have a thick outer chitinous shell that would give it good defenses, and in the animations it attacks upwards in a headbutt, and downward in a piercing attack. The headbutt could do good knockbacks, and piercing attack good knockdowns. When it has enough space to get in the air, flying could give it a good defensive advantage. This would make it strategically useful to lure it into narrower spaces. Certain attacks made when the beetle is in the air could also potentially damage its wings (disable them through a debuff) and force it to the ground. Potentially, it could also have a defensive move on the ground which would brace it for attacks, using its chitinous shell to absorb blows.

    GIANT CRAB
    [IMG]
Giant crabs would be good along sea shores near rocky areas, and in grottoes. Like sand elementals, they could bury themselves in the sand. Like crabs in real life, they could hide themselves between two rocks, and then crawl out for an ambush, or crawl back in for defense. An obvious move would be to retract appendages inward and curl up so it could defend itself with its shell. When in this defensive posture, the crab could be near impenetrable -- so the player would have to attack when it exposed itself.

    WILD BOAR
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
As in a previous thread I created, Let there be boars. Boars would be found in forests and in swamps, and would provide good drops, such as ivory (for crafting in ivory!), hides, boar heads. They could be found in groups, and their main attack would be a charge attack, where they would rush at a player from a distance with their tusks. Because there's some visual cue announcing his attack, its something the player could dodge with a roll if he were quick enough. Close up, he could do a headbutt with his tusks. Boars in groups could potentially do stampedes.

    MOUNTAIN GOAT
    [IMG] [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
As in a previous thread, Let there be goats. These would be found in snowy mountainous areas, like in the peaks of Sanctus Spine. Unlike boars, they would be more solitary animals. Like boars, they would have a charge attack and a headbutt, using their horns, not having the tusks of a boar. They could also have a rear kick attack, where they could attack you even from a non-facing direction, making them more difficult to stealth. While not too tough mobs, they could be treacherous along narrow mountain paths, simply because their knockback attacks could throw people tumbling down a mountain side. Drops can include the ram horns, wool (harvestable), and goat meat.

    GIANT RAT
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    [IMG] [IMG]
As in a previous thread, Let there be rats. Of course, your regular variety of sewer rat and rat swarms would be welcome as well, but the giant rat is a staple of Ultima games. Like the common variety, they would live in sewers, and also in swamps. They would scratch and bite, and their diseased bites would inflict a poisonous attack. Even if not that hard to defeat, you'd want to avoid them just to avoid their poison. Giant rats would feed on the bodies of dead adventurers, and near their lairs you would find bones strewn around that they had gnawed on.

    GIANT BAT
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
As in a previous thread, Let there be bats. Like with giant rats, small varieties would also be welcome. Bats of some sort have also been a staple of Ultima games. Before they become alarmed to a player's presence and aggro on them, they would be hanging upside down on stalactites or tree branches. Flittering about in the air, they would have high dex, be hard to hit, and easily escape if they needed to. Their bites could cause a Death magic type drain, since, after all, they'd be vampiric.

GIANT SNAKE / PYTHON / VIPER
    [IMG] [IMG]
Snakes of some sort have also been a common staple of Ultima games. Like other enemies -- spiders, scorpions, rats -- they would have a venomous bite. Small ones could flee quickly. Giant ones could wrap around a player, immobilize him like a root, bind him for damage, and even drag him down, knocking him down into poisonous swamp water. They would be hard to hit in most cases, because the player needs to attack downwards rather than forward. Players would have to beware snake swarms for this reason! In some cases, snakes could fall on players from trees, other snakes could hide and blend into desert sand.

    ENT
    [IMG]
Some sort of entish monster would make sense to make up for the loss of reapers. They could come in many varieties to match different types of trees, and appear exactly like a tree until made aware of the players presence and ready to aggro on them. Besides appearing like trees, they could also appear in a shorter variety, as bushes -- including in interesting forms, like as rose bushes. They would naturally have a root attack, as well as possibly be able to use their roots to drag players towards them and also bind them for damage, including Death-magic type vampiric damage. They could also possibly do some sort of stun spore attack or poison spore attack. On top of all of that, maybe have reaperish-type magic, like death bolts.

    GOOSE
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Not really a monster, but come on, they're better than ducks! I liked seeing them walk through villages in Witcher 3 and react to players.

    CAVE WRASSE
    [IMG]
    Sorry, I just had to.

    CORAL ELEMENTAL / GOLEM
This is just an idea I had after seeing the sand elementals at Blood Bay, simply because I thought a red coral version could look nice. I made a mockup that I adapted from a screenshot of an Earth Elemental.
Pieces of branch coral jutting out could be added. Could be considered a variety of Earth Elemental since the though the coral creatures are not mineral, the shell is. You could get red coral drops from them, which then could be used in recipes or magic.

I love this. I would love so much more wildlife in the world. It looks a bit empty.

For non-monster animals make sense to put a second gender in for a variety of animals also, especially if we're going to get some husbandry system; but I think there are other ways they'd add to the game.

    ROOSTER
    [IMG]
Male version of the chickens in the game! Would crow at dawn.

    BULL / OX
    [IMG]
Male version of the cows in the game. If attacked, it would have a charge attack, like the boars and goats. It could be used as an ox for a pack animal when our pack animal system comes in, and trolls could own them as companions/food.

    RAM
    [IMG]
Male version of the sheep. Horns could be harvested.

So self respecting MMO or RGP game would be missing the old starter quest "go down into the tavern basement and kill the huge rat" story line.

Oh yea! and we'll need mixed elementals once we can combo between magic schools, like,
Magma elemental -- Fire + Earth. Looks like Earth elemental but red hot with magma
Steam elemental -- Fire + Water. Looks like Air elemental but with wisps of steam
Mud elemental -- Earth + Water. Maybe like a muddy Water elemental
Ash/Smoke elemental -- Fire + Air. Like an Air elemental with ashy smoke
Mist/Fog/Cloud elemental -- Water + Air. Like an Air elemental with billowy fog
    Etc.
