Played for an hour or so on an M1 MacBook Air when they first came out. With the graphics turned down, reasonably playable. A hitch or render studded now and then. But, not bad. No LUA, etc. So, no idea about that.

But, personally, I'm waiting for the M1X (or whatever it'll be called). Until we get a build of the game specially for M1 chips, the emulation is going to cost some performance and I figure the more power the better.

I suppose that's running under Rosetta 2 instead of natively support, native build should be smoother, some claimed to be almost on par with Nvidia RTX1060 Ti equivalent or AMD Radeon RX 5500 (with around 5.8 teraflops)?!
    Any dev to confirm that?

As of the date I write this, it should be supported by Unity3d, run on (Unity3d Editor), and built for macOS with Apple Silicon.
