    Blocker? Well...
Details:Basic game responsiveness and graphical performance is a lot worse in QA R34 latest (395/396) versus latest build-480 in production. Framerates are around 10 to 15 fps, versus the other, non-QA client at ~25 fps.
Steps to Reproduce: Play the game - overworld, in-zone, etc.

As a side note though, have experienced no crashes.

Would you know how to run the game directly (not launcher) and add command line parameters? If so, you could try these two (just try one at a time) and see if you can see any performance difference:

    -force-opengl
    -force-glcore

    Attempted both. Results:

-force-opengl caused the game to hang at the "Yew: Building Map..." scene-loading splash-screen and info box. Never got to "Yew: Coordinating Data..." Tried twice - same result.
-force-glcore caused the game to load normally, and video performance was not improved. It felt the same (sluggish, in QA) as launching the game via the launcher app.

Put another way, in the R33 build-480 client I can play with AA turned on and set to "Beautiful" but in QA I have to set it to Fastest and with no-AA. Those compare as about equals...

Poke -- hey @BurningToad, any hope of seeing the Mac OS X performance regression made a priority for R35? I'm kind of on hold with regard to casual gameplay until the game gets responsive again.

I am seeing the same issue. Granted my Mac is not high performance for games, but R33 was definitely a LOT smoother.

I am also crashing regularly when loading scenes and actually never crashed with the previous release. In fact I don't think I've experienced crashes for several releases back - but this one crashes regularly. Always during loading a scene. Sometimes loading to the overland view, sometimes within a scene - doesn't seem to matter.

    User Specs:
    OS: Mac OS X 10.11.6
    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820QM CPU @ 2.30GHz (8) System RAM: 16384
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6750M OpenGL Engine GPU RAM: 1024

Same here. Last night I had the first full "hang" I can recall. On loading the Novia over world map.
