Mad Splatter: The Afternoon Tea Party! Next: 21 June 2026 at 2 PM NBT (North American central time)

September got away on me folks, so I forgot to host a teaparty. However, I'm back to semi normal (for a weirdling) and ready to host tea in October on the 17th at 3 pm NBT.

I'll think of something fun to play. You bring yourselves to tea and it will all work out perfectly. See you then!

 

Sadly my router /modem has died. I am waiting for Telus to replace it. It will be 3-5 days days until I'm online again.

This means you are on you own at the tea party on Sunday, I won't be there.

 

Tea Tomorrow at my place.

Come on by for a sip and a bite of something sweet.

We will play a game if there are enough of us and if not then we will chat and enjoy the company.

We will eat and drink and perhaps play a party game. There will be a harp player playing songs for us.

*To get there: Either use the signpost for Moon Mountain, or from the Stone Bridge of Happy Arrival turn around and walk down the road until you go past the lighthouse, past Doc Tud's Private Clinic and Hospital, then up the mountain. That's Moon Mountain that you've climbed and the Moontower Keep is at the top of the mountain. The door will be open.

 

I'm on vacation from 20th to the 25th

My character, Lily Byrd makes a public group so that everyone can find the location when the tea water has boiled as well as an announcement in the /u Universal channel in game

A hearty country tea meal is served. There are usually freshly baked pieces of cake and drink for everyone as well

Often we play riddle games for prizes

I'm late I'm late I'm very very late.


My laptop is having hardware issues and I'm still trying to get a stable connect to the interwebs. I apologize to all tea goers today and hope you find acuppa somewhere in the day. I will keep trying to get online and have a cup when I do arrive in Jade Valley.

 

I have taken all winter to think about this while I get used to working full time. Of course, that meant finding out about having far too many interests and hobbies to fit into a day. I can no longer manage a monthly tea party. Sad as that is there is madness to my waddling with words.

There is going to be a new way forward for the MadSpatter Tea Party.

Beginning in March:

I'm changing the name to something appropriate but as yet unchosen. The Four Splatters Tea? hmmm. Maybe that one.

There will be four Teas each year. One for every season.

The teas will be held at various of my places around Novia from now on...unless...well unless there are players out there who would like to have tea at their places.

Tea has been served at 3 p.m. ish NBT on a Sunday up to this point and I mean to continue with that time period

Here's a big change:

I would especially like to host tea at other folks' places.

If there are those of you out there who have decorated for having tea, are willing to show off that spot, and would like to share their creativity by entertaining a tea party that I arrange, then I would love to hear from you. Although I enjoy having tea in my own back garden, it's a grand adventure to explore some of the rest of Novia for a good cup of tea. Contact me in private message here and I can sort out the details with you.
