Does anybody know what are the "Magic Prints" are and how to get them??

This was added in Release 49:

• Side Quests and Special Rewards: (SPOILERS) We added several side quests.

• Undelivered Mail (Magic Prints): Completing the “undelivered mail” side quests now has a chance to offer players a bonus reward from a set of four prints of elemental magic (earth, air, fire, and water).

Unfortunately, I havn't had a chance to get them yet, and nobody has posted info on them, so I havn't gotten them on the wiki. I'll try to do that soon.

 

Spoiler: Where I found some...

I've got a couple, from finding 'corpses' of people in places where they are not usually part of the scenery (I found mine in Kingsroad, level one area!) - they can be hard to spot, but if you find one, it may well have a 'undelivered letter'. Take that to a town crier in a 'major' town (I used Owl's Head, nearest one, the PRT town criers seemed not to recognise the 'quest') and see if they have underlined text about undelivered mail or undelivered packages, if so click the one that matches what you found, should get a window to trade the undelivered item in, and in return you may get a random one of the prints, and a small xp reward, and a little gold.

You can find them in any town where the name ends in Way, Road, and I believe another I forget. Most are Level 1 and 2 scenes. On dead bodies mostly near the road

 

I recently did a video on these and some others here:

 

I found this spot and no corpse. Not in multiplayer or single player (online). I have no outstanding mail deliveries (as mentioned in the video). I got a mail package from Kingsport and successfully delivered it to Owl's Head. So I know I am not "locked" out of mail deliveries.

Any other ideas anyone?

EDIT: = no body, North Valeway = no body, South Valeway = no body Everything is working now that I reset my mail flag (lost mail).

 

If it helps anyone out, I noticed that I had better luck with the Brittany Wharfs Town Crier than I did with the one in Ardoris. Brittany Wharfs gave a print every time while Ardoris never gave me one.
Your mileage may vary.

 

From what I had seen, I suspect the 'corpse' has several potential spawn points to appear at, of course I can't be sure there is always one any particular scene since sometimes it might be there but I fail to spot it - the Kings Road ones are usually fairly well covered by bushes and can be a real pain to spot. The first two I found were both in the exact same spot, but going back recently to show a friend where they were, there were none at that particular spot - but he scouted around and found one in a completely different location.

I also tried "I lost my mail" to reset the mail. Nope. 6 hours in on this with no dead bodies found.

 

They are not always in the same spot, and not every scene that had one before will have one.
Its kinda like hit or miss, thats why I just run through the scene OMW to someplace else.

I just kept going back and rotating thru. Also I got 3 of mine in South and/or North Midaerway (sp), just up the road from Brittany.

 

The "I lost mail" option worked. This morning I found a corpse! Nothing was on him/her, but the fact that I am now seeing them is 100% improvement. Thank you to everyone for your help here.

 

First time I went I got a painting.

 

I want to say this is a cool feature, not only adds a randomness, but also additional content for these scenes.

I would like to see this feature used for new content with new rewards (deco stuff is good enough). What about rare books scattered around Novia (random respawn spots like with corpses) and the possibily to bring them back to the libraries in some towns?

And this would bring a new way to obtain more lore ingame!

 

This would be great! Help build the Reliquarium in Jaanaford (maybe add phased items there, so you can see your contributions), plus give you deco versions of the books so you can show them off too. Win-win!
