    1) Bloodbay is the ONLY PVP zone.
    2) Housing within Bloodbay for all taxable deeds is 50% to 100% less for taxes.
    3) If you claim a lot within Bloodbay your lot is tax reduced or free but after 30 days. After 30 days the lot becomes claimable. To claim the lot someone has to stand on it for 30 minutes.
    4) All currently claimed lots, become claimable 30 days from now.
    5) All current PVP zones, other than Bloodbay, become PVE. Place more of the extra resource nodes into Bloodbay.
    6) EVERYONE is level balanced within Bloodbay at level 100 AC and max skill 100.
    7) Remove the 10% xp bonus for PVP flagging. No PVP is allowed outside of Bloodbay, period.

    1) Remove current flagging system by picking a side in a conflict based on ingame lore
    2) Make partaking in this conflict consensual by making it possible to show or hide faction side.
    3) Make PVP zones interesting with resources and mob spawns, also a CP like function for factions to claim these zones.
When conquered PVP is disabled for a while and faction people can enter and harvest with increased gains for XP/Resources etc.
    4) Make Bloodbay governable by guilds who conquer it.
    5) Make Guilds flag PVP for higher XP buff in 5% range or so, but they now can be declared war upon.
    6) Flesh out the specialization system... now that we have sides to play on low level or weak players can learn and play with high levels or good players and thus have fun without limiting or destroying the RPG aspect of the game for PVP.

    1) Picking side won't work if everyone is the same. DAOC did "sides" right but was a balance nightmare.
    2) See above, sides make no difference if only in name. Everyone would just join the most "overpowered" side. Imbalance.
    3) Would create imbalance, a couple powerful guilds would control those zones and set up a very unfair advantage. Might work one day if we get a really large population in SOTA.
    4) See #3. Too open to exploit, metagaming, cheating, etc.
    5) Again imbalance. Would have one or two megaguilds, who would just metagame and collusion scenarios. I'd join both of them with alts.
    6) PVP level balance. All Level 100 100 Skill cap max. That works, equal playing field. Learn as you fight.

    Thanks for trying.

All those problems can be fixed and have been fixed in other games. Heck ALL PVE in this game could and has been exploited.. not seeing it being stopped.. Instead it gets fixed.

Calling for a cap like you did just shows you dont understand how the game works :p

Just fix resistances so that they work, and make stealth hard to use/easy to spot if your lookin for it.

Cuz being 1-shot by stealth or 2 shot by ranged stunlocking mage crits is a big turnoff.

Fix death shield so that it only heals if you get hit, and only for the % of damage you take rather than dmg you take and resist.

And has anyone pvped in bloody bay with the 80 cap on it yet? Atm theres not really things to fight over but thats scedualed to change this quarter

Can't say I like any of your PVP ideas. Sounds like limiting a FPS to one map only where you can get all the same resources you can get anywhere else in the game in private mode. The people who have houses in BB rarely PVP in BB from what I've seen. Now you want to cap everyone who goes there and take away their xp bonus for what? How about instead we make BB the only zone where you can PVE without PVP and you can keep the 10% Exp bonus while in BB and we remove all the resources and we turn all the mines into PVP hot spots. The rest of the world becomes one big giant PVP zone.

Have you actually tried to play a stealth based character? Stealth has been broken since forever so you CAN currently find a stealthed person if you try hard enough. Not to mention you know they're in the Zone due to the Nearby Players list. You used to be able to tab target them while they were stealthed and actually find them. Have you tried getting in a Sneak Attack on a mage moving at Mach 3 and scoring the hit in the back with a skill that has only a 2.5 Meter range when you can't see your own character to judge the distance and you're slowed by virtue of just being stealthed. Let's not forget you can just toss out a 40+M ranged Fire Arrow without even actually targeting the player and it will auto track the stealthed person if they're in range and in the general direction. Come back after you've actually killed a competent mage with over 800 hp in PVP in just one sneak attack and complain about how OP stealth is atm.

You cant see people on mearby in pvp zones. The distorted effect doesnt work unless you’re close enough for them to jump you.

The AoE effects and aggressive summons help, but the predator effect used to let you see stealth people running freely around you, and made it hard to see them when they stood still. It doesnt do that anymore. And i wasnt aware firing random shots all over the place in defense was a thing

You cant tab target to find them anymore. Unless its changed very recently, noone can target a stealthed person at all, no matter how close they are.

stealth is easy to target, just shoot any attack in an angle 180 deg in front of you and any stealth guy will be hit, same with body slam ....even worst, body slam and engage turn on when a stealth guy is in range in this 180 degree angle...
Not mentioning that stealth people are clearly visible, appearing as a grey shadow. The effect is not permanent, but painfull enough to allow any stealth guy to be spot very easily...
effectively tab does not target stealth anymore, but you can still see a stealth person by passing your mouse on top of them, your cursor turns blue...but you do not really need that to spot a stealth guy, just body slam, cast a fire arrow if he he is the zone in front of you, the magic missile will go straight to him , even if he is on your side...
So no...stealth is definitely not easy at all

this does not work and is even counter productive, adv level 120 does not mean that you are overpowered in one tree but instead , you get GMed in a much larger number of trees. Competing at level 100 (but with the xp of a level 100) is pure suicide against these players in anyway
