    Agreed. I too found the text a little difficult to read. I wasn't sure if that was me, the map, or a combination. Most likely, and sadly, I think a combination. Maybe I should check into getting glasses. :D

    Overall though, I appreciate the effort. It's nice having a map handy. Especially now since we're getting names and locations and such. So thanks and keep up the good work. :)

    Here is version 2 with the rest of the revealed names. The lables are now easier to read too. I'll use less fancy font's for the tiny print if I have to, but I was trying to use fonts consistent with the theme. Thank you everyone for your input.

    Its much easier differentiate between villages, towns and cities once you outlined them. As a prospective house buyer, should I be worried that three of the settlements are right beside volcanoes :) Great job on the map!

    I updated the map due to some of the some of the geographical information revealed in the 6 Month progress demo.
    • I added a village -- Kingsport and the "Isle of Lost Vale -- Although the map location is not an island it matches the layout/geography in the video the best. What led me to this spot was the original hexagon map, that had a city in this same spot that never made it onto the artisticly rendered map.
    • Reading the conversation between the player and the Owl's Head town guard we discover that Owl's Head which is in "the Vale", isn't part of the "mainland". I had always assumed the larges land mass on the map was a continent in itself, but it sounds like it really is an island so I have labled it "Novia" as some suggested in the first version and also moved the lable of Elysium to the island at the entrance to the Sea of Storms.
    • Moving the lable of Novia, also required the movement of Foresaken Vale. Since the Isle of Lost Vale, and "the Vale" are somewhat close, it makes me think that Foresaken Vale may be in the same area.

    I think red gave a better contrast for the towns rather than green. :) Great map. Thanks.

    I agree, and that is why I choose red to begin with, but along the way I suspect other items of greater importance will come along and the need for contrast will be even greater. I'm just planning ahead so that we don't have too much red and make it more difficult to easily see what is what.

    I went with a color coding theme:

    Green = good/safe
    Red = potentially dangerous

    I don't expect to make this a rule, but it does make a nice guide.

    Thanks for the input though. I'll keep it in mind as I continue to add to the map.

    I see what you mean now. I was looking at a copy of the Ultima 3 map and noticed a storm symbol in this area. I'll keep this in mind for future updates.

    That was difficult to listen to. Hopefully RG doesn't let our bubbles burst by not implementing hot air balloons, but with no mentions of it, I wonder.

    Looks like this is at the bottom of the map too, near 20 degrees (left side of zero?)

    Kuel? (given the use of k from elder futhark in piece 5 I don't think this k is correct but it would be true if younger futhark -- also not confident with the U)
    Quel - (replaces the above guess! Just checked the story. See the four lettered word in the middle)
    Barren (of Quel - the "of Quel" is off the map, but see the story)
    __eter (town at the top)

    Nice, thanks for doing this :). I have a village property deed, this will help as long as all these villages are in game. Town and cities will have village properties on their outskirts I think too?
