Updated the PDF to include points of interest and Solania.

Added the Points of Interest layer as points and not as polygons. I tested collecting the adventure areas as polygons but getting the edges was a bit much. Plus it will be easier to symbolize the points eventually once I add more data about the location.

(just noticed I missed the South Brightbone Woods... I'll fix that next time.)

Here's what the edges of the South Brightbone Woods would look like...

    Absolutely brilliant work cartodude !
Mapping is a fun game itself.
And I feel your pain with the weird hex co-ordinates.
A handy hint which is life changing for a cartographer : /loctrack :)

Updated the PDF to include the new areas for R19. Roads on Elysium, town of Port Phoenix, Etceter Grag Mines, and Whiteguard Foothills.

FYI I will be collecting the new data for R20 this weekend and hope to update the map as quickly as possible. Tons of new POTs to add it looks like.

It took me longer to collect the data this time due to the changes to combat and getting stuck at the control points and random encounters... but I should have it cleaned up in a day or two. I swear every time I went out it was night... o_O ... and spotting those new towns was a pain in the dark. I didn't capture the island ones yet.

Finally found most of the new land based POT's everywhere and new roads in the NW. The PDF is updated. It still needs some work that I'll get to during R20. I'll try and get all the island towns too.

Put out a minor revision... I was able to get better control points for the image finally and I rectified it a lot better. What looks like a vertical image to start with is actually not. It turns out the original image was taken at a slight angle. I've now adjusted for this even more and things seem to line up as I now expect them too.

    You're a legend!
That distortion has been annoying me no end.
I just couldn't work it out and thought it must have had something to do with hexes.
    Brilliant work Cartodude.
I suggest this be called the "Cartodude Projection" :)

Thanks :).... photogrammetry work always was my favorite thing to do. Trying to get a scanned photo or map to fit our data is like working on a puzzle. Oddly relaxing.

The distortion in this one kept bugging me too. I assumed at first the Dev's took the screenshot directly above so I kept thinking it was a simple scaling issue. But after the first pass I made I realized there had to be more going on but I couldn't get all the control points I needed in the upper left... I spent time tonight to recapture all the points and adding in new ones in the NW... FYI, Bridges are my friend... easy points to pick out on the overland map and the image. I just wish I had a newer image to work with.

Yep, keep up the great work cartodude! One minor request: different colors for POTs vs. NPC towns.

That's my plan actually... I was in a hurry to get something out so I just need to go back and update the database with the correct info. Plus I noticed I'm still missing a few towns way out in the northern wilderness.

    Small spelling error.

Down in the SE corner it is Nivenshire, not Nivnshire.

    Map is looking great!!!

Your previous version had my guild's city: Rift's End. It's on the far NE side of the map above POT Falling Rivers. As far as I know, we're still there. :)

I'll fix it tonight, thanks... I need to play with the labeling function to get all the text to play nice.

    Just checked...
The point is still there but the auto-label fell off due to overlap... I'll adjust the settings to fix this.

Neat map....shows a very crowded world.

Is there honestly a city call radio city?
