Massive CPU temperature increase

Try going into options and close the seeding off to stop the uploading from your machine.

 

I am going to go out on a limb and say this is an isolated issue. There has been many suggestion you could try, or you could just wait till the game is optimised. I have a decent beefy system with a mild overclock of 4.0GHz and here are my temps while playing the game for an hour:




Prior to starting the game, my lowest temp is 33C. While playing the game my highest temp achieved is 55C. The temp does spike here and there so I would say an average 48C during play.

If interested I have a fan cooler Noctua D14, which at the time of purchase, was the best non-liquid cooler you could buy so you could also take that into account.

Thanks for posting this, I did a search and found it, very good app, same CPU as mine, but I haven't OCed it. I'm running at 53c across all cores w/about the same loads...
