I have a bronze sword that was 18/55 (out of 90 in r29).

It is now at 100 max durability so, those changes work but, i went to a crafting station and repaired it with a repair kit, got it back at 100/100.

Will try out other piece of equipment.

I just repaired max durability on a Carapacian Epic Cloth Helm at a tailoring station.

Also, it required a Tailoring Repair Kit, even though the Release post states that they are no longer needed as an ingredient at a crafting station.

Maybe because you tried it on old items?

What about new crafted, looted or store bought ones?

    I am just guessing :)
